Chamika Karunaratne was suspended one-year ban from all cricket

Chamika Karunaratne, the Sri Lanka all-rounder, has been handed a one-year ban, suspended for a year, by Sri Lanka Cricket following a "corrective inquiry".

 

The Sri Lanka Cricket found Karunaratne to have breached multiple clauses by a three-member inquiry panel. All charges against the all-rounder were pleaded guilty. 

Karunaratne was suspended from all forms of cricket for one year and was fined US $5000 for his breaking.
